Mason Brown
Mason is a founding member, administrative director, and arranger of the Southeast Trumpet Connection. He began playing the Trumpet in the sixth grade. Mason attended Bartram Trail High School where he played in The Spirit of Bartram Marching Band, Wind Symphony, and Jazz Ensemble. During these years, he was also in the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra and Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps. His freshmen year of college was spent at Valdosta State University. Since his sophomore year, Mason has been a student at Lee University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. Mason is a member of the Lee University Wind Ensemble, Lee University Jazz Ensemble, Lee University Symphony Orchestra, and the Lee Flames Pep Band. Mason is currently studying with Mr. David Hobbs.
Mason is also a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
