Caleb Hall

Caleb joined the Southeast Trumpet Connection in August of 2010 after subbing for one of our members in a performance in the Summer of 2010. During this performance Caleb’s talent and dedication to music, specifically trumpet playing, were realized and he was offered a place in the ensemble.  Since joining the group, Caleb has brought a new dynamic to the group and the music.

Jordan started on trumpet in the fall of 2002 as a middle school student. Since then he has had many opportunities to display his talent. In the summer of 2007 he attended the first ever Trumpet Seminar at Eastman School of Music.  The next summer, Jordan was one of ten trumpet players selected to attend the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. In 2009, he attended the Trumpet Workshop at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Jordan is currently is enrolled as a music major at Lee University and is/has been a part of many ensembles including the Lee University Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra, and Pep Band while at Lee. Jordan has had the opportunity to go to Israel with the Lee University Symphonic Band and will soon be going with them to the nation of Cuba and working with their national band. His teachers on trumpet consist of Philip Morehead professor of trumpet at Lee University,David Hobbs Principal Trumpet of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, Wes Nance the assistant principal of the Rochester Philharmonic, Doug Prosser the principal trumpet of the Rochester Philharmonic, Russ DeVuyst the Associate Principal of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and Roy Poper Professor of trumpet at Oberlin Conservatory of Music.  Jordan is also a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
